Overview of freeze-drying machines

Freeze dryer is a commonly used material drying equipment, also known as freeze drying equipment or low-temperature drying equipment.

Freeze dryer is a commonly used material drying equipment, also known as freeze drying equipment or low-temperature drying equipment. This equipment uses low-temperature and vacuum technology to remove moisture from substances in a frozen state, thereby maintaining their original quality and extending their shelf life.
1、 Working principle
The working procedure of a freeze dryer is divided into three steps: freezing, heating, and vacuuming. For processed substances, it is first necessary to freeze them to -40 ℃~-50 ℃, then heat them under vacuum conditions to evaporate the water from the substance through heating, and then remove the water in the form of solidification. In this way, the freeze-drying machine can remove moisture from the substance while preserving its original form and nutritional components as much as possible.
2、 Key component composition
The freeze dryer mainly consists of four parts: vacuum system, refrigeration system, control system, and heating system.
1. Vacuum system
The vacuum system can eliminate the air in the drying room and reduce the humidity during the drying process. The vacuum pump is the core component of the vacuum system, which mainly discharges the gas in the drying chamber through suction, thereby reducing the pressure of the drying substance and reducing the evaporation temperature of water. The vacuum sensor is used to monitor the vacuum degree and control the air flow during the processing.
2. Refrigeration system
The refrigeration system is a key part of achieving material freezing under low temperature conditions. Generally, mechanical refrigeration devices are used to maintain the temperature in the drying room at around -40 ℃~-50 ℃ through refrigerant circulation, to ensure the drying operation of substances in a frozen state.
3. Control system
The control system is the management system of the entire equipment, including functions such as setting processing parameters, monitoring the process, data collection, and storage. Through the control system, automated control and fault diagnosis of equipment can be carried out, improving production efficiency and product quality.
4. Heating system
The heating system is an important component of raising a substance to a fixed temperature in a frozen state. Usually, methods such as electric heating or electromagnetic heating are used to raise the temperature of the material to the desired temperature and complete dehydration and drying under vacuum conditions.
